Refund Policy

Greater Towing & Recovery LLC values transparency regarding towing service fees, roadside assistance charges, dispatch costs, storage fees, and refund procedures. Please review this policy carefully before requesting services.

1. Service Payments

Payments for towing, roadside assistance, recovery operations, transportation services, and related support are governed by service agreements and operational conditions applicable at the time of service. All fees will be communicated prior to or at the time of service delivery where possible.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility may vary depending on:

  • Dispatch status at the time of cancellation
  • Whether towing services have been completed
  • Mileage traveled by the operator
  • Whether the operator has arrived at the service location
  • Incurred operational costs
  • Timing of the cancellation request

3. Service Cancellations

Customers requesting cancellations after dispatch has been initiated may remain responsible for applicable fees. These may include:

  • Dispatch fees
  • Mileage charges incurred
  • Operator labor costs
  • Roadside service expenses already incurred
  • Other operational expenses committed prior to cancellation

To minimize cancellation fees, please contact us as soon as possible if you no longer require service.

4. Partial or Pro-Rated Refunds

Where applicable, partial or pro-rated refunds may be issued based on the extent of completed services and the operational costs already incurred at the time of cancellation. Each situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees may be non-refundable where permitted by applicable law. These may include dispatch fees, administrative costs, storage fees, emergency response charges, and operational expenses that cannot be recovered after service initiation.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds may require several business days to process depending on your financial institution and payment processor. We will notify you once a refund has been approved and initiated. Processing times are outside our direct control once a refund has been issued.

7. Billing Questions

Customers should contact our office promptly regarding any billing concerns or disputed charges. We are committed to resolving billing questions fairly and transparently. Please have your service details available when contacting us.

8. No Guarantee of Refunds

Refund approvals remain subject to review of completed services, dispatch status, operational costs incurred, signed service agreements, and applicable Michigan state laws. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
